I want to connect to a remote machine in my LAN. I need a software that can help me do that. I want it to have good performance , and keyboard grabbing feature. (ie pressing ctrl+alt+tab should open terminal of guest ubuntu and not my host ubuntu ). I have explored free nx but it does not offer keyboard grabbing

Any suggestions would be welcome, preferably free.

What about - openvpn. It's free.
