I am looking for out-of-box software solution for Linux to share a confidential data. It's needed for the storage to be encrypted or protected another way. Logging into the server with smart cards would be very useful. Of course for each user different set of files will be shared. I am also receptive for commercial software. Thanks! | |||||

Look at LUKS. There is also smartcard support in most distributions during boot. | |||
