I'm looking for a freely availabe network mapping tool.

From Wikipedia's list of Notable network mapping softwares:

I found that Lumar's IPSonar is awesome! But unfortunately its not available for download.

Are there any free/opensource tools that come close to this? Even trial version would also do.

I don/t know IPSonar, but we use zenmap for network mapping. It/s based on nmap and works.
