I have the newest version of MAMP Pro set up on my Macbook. I have it serving two virtual hosts (example.com port 80, example.com port 443 with ssl).
Everything works fantastic. It loads http and https just great. We have to cater to IE users, so we have virtual machines set up running XP/IE7/IE8, Vista IE8, and Win7/IE8/IE9. We also have separate test machines running Windows XP and IE8.
Using either the virtual machines or the separate machine connecting to our box (points to our ip via the host file) works fine for both http and https EXCEPT IE8 on WindowsXP. IE8 on the other versions of Windows it works PERFECT.
I don't even know where to begin to debug this!
