I'm on the support front lines for the next several months dealing with different Outlook/Exchange environments. I'd appreciate anyone's thoughts on OL Plugin troubleshooting strategies where one plug-in adversely effects another's operation. Most of the time there is little-to-no chance of getting help from the authors of the plugins, so I'm looking for what else one might do.

Other than altering the LoadBehavior for a plugin via the Registry, what things are in your bag of tricks? Is there a way to direct a plugin to load at 'use time' and discard itself immediately afterward like a DLL? Is there a way to alter the load order of the plugins? Is there an OL plugin management container of some sort that might permit greater flexibility in this regard?

Is there a possibility for an Outlook plugin to partially or improperly install if the user doesn't have sufficient rights via UAC at install time?

All of above are of great interest to me and any thoughts are appreciated!
