So we've got a dedicated server where in we can create "packages" for web hosting. Each package has its own cPanel and user account that he can use to log in. Currently I set up only 1 package with unlimited features.

Now we've got to host a new website. Is it advice-able have that site running under the same account/package as the previous website?

For example, this is our current set up :

SiteA.com Document root is at public_html/siteA.com

SiteB.com Document root is at public_html/siteB.com

Different domain names.

What benefits will I have if I made SiteB.com a separate account/package?

Thanks!

It's difficult to tell what is being asked here. This question is ambiguous, vague, incomplete, overly broad, or rhetorical and cannot be reasonably answered in its current form. See the FAQ for guidance on how to improve it.

There is no definitive answer to that question, it depends if users need access or not ?

We use ISP panel which is similar to cpanel. Every client gets it's own account if they need to manage their website. But we also do this for every client that does not need access to their website if we are managing it, it is easier to keep different clients separated. It depends what you find the easiest to manage since you will need to start keeping track of user/pass.

The dedicated server will solely be for our use. Future websites that we own will be hosted there. – r2b2 Jan 16 at 7:15
It is just a matter of what you find the easiest. – Lucas Kauffman Jan 16 at 10:40
