I'm using avahi-daemon to advertise both file sharing and VNC in the same service-file with the desired effect of having just one icon popping up on my other computers in the network. However Ubuntu automatically advertises VNC as my username and I'm guessing this is a setting somewhere in Vino but I can't find it.
If i disable user-publishing in avahi-daemon, VNC is no longer advertised but since I use my computer as an Airport client I need to have user-publishing enabled.
My question is if there's a way to disable VNC-advertising by Vino? Any other suggestions are of course also welcome!
