This error comes up very regularly on the computer at my workplace. This machine is running Windows XP, and the error message says:

The instruction at "0x00000000" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read".

Click on OK to terminate the program Click on CANCEL to debug the program

Normally I'm selecting Cancel each time, as OK just brings the message back up.

Please can you tell me if this is the wrong place to post this.

Your explanations are to vague. Please search this file and give the whole name of it. You also should right-click the file, go to "details" and post the information from there. Usually such errors are bugs in the program which would be resolved with a patch or a newer version. – Tom Jan 19 at 14:45
