I have a contact in my GAL, Exchange 2003. How can I add an alias to send the mail to them? For example, when this person had a mailbox on Exchange, they had an employee number 1234. When someone typed in 1234, Exchange resolved the employee number and sent the email to john smith. After I deleted John Smith's mailbox, I could no longer send email to 1234. I have to search for the contact in the GAL, All Contacts, select, send.
How can I get that alias back? Thanks for help.
