One of my team mate reverted a snapshot without intimating any body.

We tried to find it through Events. But there was no record.

Where we can find the details about reverted snapshot?

don't know this for a fact, but you could try checking the logs stored locally with the VM. Open up the data store where the VM is located, browse to the folder the vm is contained in and see if any of the log files mention anything. They probably won't say who did it though.

Secodnly, i find it strange that vmware isn't mentioning it? When i go to my vm, and then look under "tasks/events" and then click on tasks. I see a record stating "revert to current snapshot" and also removal of snapshots.

In recent task list it would display. recent tasks are vanished after some time.If i look at events list, It records Vm started ,stopping but no where mentioned about revert snapshot. – Samselvaprabu Jan 23 at 6:27
So are you saying there are start / stop tasks during the same time frame, but not a revert snapshot message? if so, this it probably didn't happen, or they did it manually (meaning they shutdown the vm, edited the vmx file and deleted the snapshot). If you're saying it happended a while ago, it's possiable the logs were purged – Eric C. Singer Jan 23 at 17:21
