I'm trying to figure out a way to discern the filename of mail that is delivered via postfix. I would like to do this as efficiently as possible (via hooks?) but I believe postfix filters won't help me here.

I'm using postfix 2.8.7-2 with virtual domains into Maildirs/ so I'm assuming it has something to do with virtual?

Any pointers?

What do you want to do ? You can find the name in deliver logs (at least on procmail), but it is maybe inefficient in your case... You can maybe add the "-v" option to local process in your master.cf to have the detail logs. – Dom Jan 30 at 21:13
