My Fedora server has problems to access external raid storage (StorCase IFS U320/SATA-R) when there's written data to it (via rdiff-backup). After a hour or so, it simply stops responding and always states the storage is in use (can't unmount it either). If there's no data written for some days, the storage respond fine.

The only work-around which I can find is to reboot the server (so I can access the data again). However, when writing data again, it'll stop responding again.

The first few months we used this machine everything was working fine.

Does anyone know what this could be caused by? Or how could I get more information about the issue? (logs seem fine..)

Thanks advance.

Edit
