I built a static site, then decided to make it a Wordpress site. I used PLESK's complimentary Wordpress install instead of doing it myself, but I don't know if that's even relevant in this discussion. Either way, it's in a directory that isn't the root directory : httpdocs/wordpress/

When the "subscription/domain" contained just static HTML files, I was able to easily change the document root from /httpdocs/ to whatever I wanted throught PLESK's interface under www.yoursite.com > control panel > Website & Domains > Website Scripting & Security.

Now, I'm met with this : It is impossible to change document root because there are web applications installed on this website.

Is there a way around this without me having to migrate WP to the /httpdocs/ directory?

Many thanks SF
