Recently we migrated our mail server running the Icewarp mail server to a new virtual server to make it easier to manage. The Migration went well and there were no issues until we started receiving calls from some of out customers that cannot check the email any more. All of them appear to be using Macs (there have been no PC issues). We tested the web mail on a few macs we had in the office and sure enough the login page loads but the once we click login it just sits there (sometimes after 5-10 mins it does work). A lot of the time it will come up with errors saying the page has stopped responding. The weird part is all computers (even the affected ones running osx and ubuntu) can ping and traceroute to the address. All browsers are affected.

Has anyone seen a similar issue before? Does mac and linux form their network traffic in a different way that would stop the page from working?

Do you push any sort of group policy for proxy configuration? That wouldn't be applied to non-domain member systems. Does the issue also occur on Windows PC users that use decent browsers like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox? – Kyle Smith Feb 2 at 3:33
