I'm developing a website using ubuntu as a host web-server through virtualbox.

when I first set this up, I was broadcasting the ip address so that on my tablet, I could navigate to the ip address of the ubuntu virtual machine, and view the site on my tablet.

I have done something wrong, and now I have to connect ubuntu to the network through a 'wired connection' though of course this wired connection doesn't actually exist, it is just a connection to the host machine through virtual box.

How can I set-up ubuntu/virtualbox to use a 'wireless' connection so that I can browse the local site through an ip address?
