I have downloaded db2 from IBM site.I have windows 7 home premium but when i run setup.exe of db2 from unzipped directory nothing appears.The installation window does not appear.

Welcome to Server Fault, please note that general PC troubleshooting (even if it's about installing server software) is off-topic as per the FAQ. You can try to ask your question again on Super User, but with the caveat that we need extra details: Does the executable show up in the Task Manager? How big is the installer? It could take a while to load. Could you capture a trace using Process Monitor? Is there anything else that you notice? We can't reproduce this... ;) – Tom Wijsman Feb 3 at 18:15
