I have a windows 2008 web edition server that has a comodo 2048 wildcard certificate installed. I am using a gprs device to log some data to the server. Although it works either in http or https when i switch to ssl i get a 40 sec delay at the ssl handshake. More specific, the server sends the message
Server Hello, Certificate, Server hello done
and the device responces after 40secs with
Client key exchange, Change cipher spec, encrypted handshake message
is this delay normal? what migth be going wrong?
