Server Fault is a question and answer site for professional system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I would like to encrypt an entire partition on a Windows XP computer and have that volume available to the system after I enter the password and then log off.

I do not want to use the pre-boot authentication because I will not have physical access to the server on a normal basis.
