I am looking for a tutorial and best practice how to migrate a Domino Web user (with webmail but without id file) to a Lotus Notes user (with an id file).

I also need to know the other way around. i.e how to get from a Lotus Notes user (with id file ) to a web user (with webmail but without id file)

thanks Thomas

Edit: I have access to the following things: Full Administrator access to Domino environment, Admin client and relevant certifiers (and passwords) i.e. User OU. I am not looking for a 20 step guide here. it should be easy as pie

Before I starting composing an answer do you have access to the following things: Full Administrator access to Domino environment, Admin client and relevant certifiers (and passwords) i.e. User OU? –  booyaa Mar 26 '12 at 10:54

Notes to Web

A Notes User can always be a web user - so nothing needed here.

Web to Notes

A web user can not use a Notes Client without an ID file. You can simply register the person with the same details and select the option to update the existing user record. They can use the same mailfile etc.
