I have created a script which is supposed to run automatically when a specific USB-device is connected. I've based my udev rule on the this post:

Linux (Ubuntu) run script upon USB mount

My udev rules looks like this:

BUS="usb", SYSFS{idVendor}="**05ac**", SYSFS{product}="**Apple, Inc. iPod Classic**", NAME="usb/%k", SYMLINK="ipod", RUN+="/opt/ipod/ipod_sync"

The script executes but it cannot do what it's supposed to since it's expecting /dev/ipod to exist but this symlink doesn't get created when I plug in my device.

What is wrong?
