We have a few PDU's APC 7920 and soon we are getting some 9xxx.

Is it possible to manage all PDU's from a central software, turn on/off etc? If so, what would be a good software to use?

Shopping Questions are Off-Topic on any of the Stack Exchange sites. See Q&A is hard, lets go Shopping and the FAQ for more details. We include and open requests for software/hardware suggestions to be "shopping". Also, since they're all from the same vendor, you should start your search by asking them. – Chris S Feb 28 '12 at 18:11
I'm not sure this is a shopping question. Arthor is asking how to centrally manage his switched PDUs, and the answer seems to be apc.com/products/family/?id=350 , unless there are dozens of options to manage the switched PDUs. – Stefan Lasiewski Feb 28 '12 at 18:20
@chris - this is NOT a shopping question at all. It is asking First of all if PDU's can be managed (The answer is yes) second of all it ask about the software. e,g. Power IQ or APC software, a few names is all I needed. Thank you Stefan Lasiewski for you support. – Arthor Feb 28 '12 at 18:26
For anyone who has the same issue, Power IQ offer there software for free (Max 5 PDU's) and you can also get the VMware image as well. Youtube has some videos that help. Thank you – Arthor Feb 28 '12 at 18:30
