Server Fault is a question and answer site for professional system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I'm working on a WordPress based website, the webpage loads fine but the CSS and JavaScript won't load in. Here's a screenshot from FireBug:

The html pages are fine. Even the Wordpress wp-admin back end thing loads fine but without the CSS.

I have access to the server. It's a Windows server running IIS7. This is an issue that's just started, it wasn't like this on friday night and nothing was changed by me (or anyone else in the company as far as I know).

As you see I'm getting the error: "The page cannot be displayed because an internal server error has occurred."

I am really stuck on fixing this, can anyone help out?

Have you checked the IIS logfiles? –  Mathias R. Jessen Mar 4 '12 at 14:44
If nobody changed it and nothing was updates, check your access logs. Maybe you had some visitors you didn't anticipate for. –  Lucas Kauffman Mar 4 '12 at 15:13
Someone else managed to fix it, it was a 'duplicate mime type' or something –  Adam Waite Mar 5 '12 at 11:58
