Parallels Plesk shows:

ERROR: PleskFatalException Unable to connect to database: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Can't create a new thread (errno 12); if you are not out of available memory, you can consult the manual for a possible OS-dependent bug

0: /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/common_func.php3:154 psaerror(string 'Unable to connect to database: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Can't create a new thread (errno 12); if you are not out of available memory, you can consult the manual for a possible OS-dependent bug') 1: /usr/local/psa/admin/auto_prepend/auth.php3:87

If I log in on console it says

-bash: fork: Nicht genügend Hauptspeicher verfügbar

Which means not enough memory.

How can I find out where the problem is, and how to fix it?

Update:

My provider sent me a spam abuse mail. Where can I see if someone sends spam via my server, and how to fix it?

Update:

Do not know much about linux, but I using google I found processes like this:

qmailr 30686 0.0 0.1 3380 912 ? S 22:36 0:00 /var/qmail/bin/qmail-remote.moved msg.telus.com anonymous@[MY_SERVER].de 4167076713@msg.telus.com

What I still don't know: What is qmail rem? Why can this be activated by a spammer from outside the server, and how to fix?

As far as my experience goes, the servers from this provider are bad in terms of performance. But anyway, back to your problem: What is the output of top and free -m? The error message sounds alot like you have no memory left and your machine maybe even swapping. Btw, how much RAM does your box have?

Sorry, can't check in console. There is only the no memory message. –  Walter Jablonowski Mar 14 '12 at 21:24

But see my upd. above. It seems to be spam abuse. How to fix this? –  Walter Jablonowski Mar 14 '12 at 21:25

Do you have a desktop environment or is there any way for you to view a list of running processes and the current RAM consumption? –  Valentin Mar 14 '12 at 22:49

Well I use a vserver. The free mem was nearly 0. I made a reboot. Now Mem is 512 used 147 free 364 (using free -m). Processes see above. I found one that seems to produce spam. Currently men is ok, but I Think this spamming could run again. So, I wonder how can anyone install those procs on my server, and how can I remove those procs and fix this for the future? –  Walter Jablonowski Mar 15 '12 at 3:14

It seems to be the case that you gained access to your shell. Kill qmail and see if the RAM consumption stays low. You are able to kill qmail by typing in kill -SIGTERM <PID of qmail> Aferwards do chmod -x $(which qmail) in order to prevent qmail from starting again. Does your syslog show interesting stuff? –  Valentin Mar 15 '12 at 19:47
