I am getting the following error when posting to a php script on iis 7.5.

I am posting xml content with the text/xml content type.

The error returned is : -

405 - HTTP verb used to access this page is not allowed.

I am an apache user usually so am a bit stuck with this problem on IIS, thanks in advance for any help.

The HTTP Status code 405 (Method not allowed) means you tried to POST data to a URL that only allows GET requests, or vice versa.

In Microsoft IIS parlance, a verb equates to a HTTP Method.

Yeah I worked that much out but can't seem to figure out how to allow POST. I tried looking in the application handlers and still nothing. –  rsmarsha Mar 15 '12 at 12:30
