Good Day,

I'm using hardware that streams data, it has 4 Lan ports and is running Linux 2.6.23.

I've run into some strange behavior with ARP tables reporting multiple IP addresses to single MAC addresses, but I've resolved the issue with the arp_announce and arp_accept settings.

I run a DHCP server to assign the IP addresses (same subnet) to the 4 MAC addresses.

My problem now is when I ping all 4 IP addresses and then disconnect the LAN cable on eth0, all of the interfaces times out.. If I disable eth0, the same thing then happens when I disconnect eth1.. the other interfaces work as it should. Is there perhaps a network setting I can adjust to rectify this?
