Server Fault is a question and answer site for professional system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I've setup xl2tpd and openswan (L2TP over IPsec) and my MacBook Pro and iPhone can connect just fine. The problem is, there's no internet access, only local.

Is there some iptables rule that I have to add? A config directive I'm missing in some file? I'm really lost. Thanks for any help.

By the way, this is on a Debian Squeeze (6) 64-bit Xen VPS.

You really need to post your iptables config, relevant sysctl parameters etc, or simply go look for an easy step-by-step guide. –  3molo Mar 21 '12 at 9:01
I have no iptables entries at all. I followed a guide (as I've always used OpenVPN but I recently got Xen virtualization and I need VPN working on iOS devices) and it works, just with no external access. –  Blake Mar 21 '12 at 9:07
