I have a mikrotik web proxy with firewall and hotspot. I'm able to open major part of TCP (e.g. 25) port but not the port 110 for TCP. What is the difference?

  • How can I open the port on firewall (port 25 is working)?
  • How can I completely disable firewall for testing purposes?

You might want to provide the command line you are using (or some screen shots if using the GUI) and outline the problem you are encountering in more detail (error message?) to get meaningful answers. –  the-wabbit Apr 13 '12 at 18:58

There's no difference in how you open port 25 or port 110 - put an ALLOW rule for the right protocol and port in the FORWARD chain. You're going to need to be much more specific about the issue that you're having for us to be able to help. –  Shane Madden Apr 13 '12 at 20:22
