On a domain, a Windows XP computer had problems. So I placed fresh sysprepped image on that computer.

Using Sysprep mini-setup, I keep the same computer name, then I added that computer on the domain. Computer object on domain remain the same.

The problem is that this computer don't apply GPO immediately—I have to wait some time (say 1 hour). After this delay, GPO are applyied. Before this delay, gpupdate /force says computer and user configuration are up to date and there is nothing to do.

Is this behavior normal? Is there a way to force GPO to update immediately?

EDIT

Before the delay:

After the delay:

(Don't take care about Windows version on these screen capture; this is for example only.)

Did you delete the Computer in AD before running the sysprep? –  Bart De Vos Apr 25 '12 at 8:18

Removing computer or not seems to not change anything. –  Velcro Apr 25 '12 at 13:46
