Using centos 6.2x86_64 /dev/sda is primary disk /dev/sdb is secondary disk. The volume group size of /dev/sda was not enough so i increased the size of volume group using vgextend command. It was working perfectly after extending it. But after reboot the changes are not working. Kindly help in this regard.

yes i mean vgextend. VG ( Volume Group in LVM )

After reboot system automatically goes to recovery prompt and pvdisply vgdisply etc commands does not work :(

Do you mean vgextend? What do you mean by "not working"? VG went back to original size? –  ank Apr 27 '12 at 12:22

Nowhere NEAR enough information provided, let's see your pvdisplay, vgdisplay, lvdisplay and fstab first –  Chopper3 Apr 27 '12 at 12:54

And perhaps move to UL to get more specialists looking? –  Nils Apr 28 '12 at 20:13
