Is there any way to make the Bucktooth gopher server use an OpenNIC address? I don't think there is, but anybody who would like to try is welcome to do so.

Are you asking how to setup the host that is running the gopher server to use OpenNIC, or are you asking you can publish something using an OpenNIC address and have clients not using OpenNIC to somehow magically be able to resolve the name? –  Zoredache May 3 '12 at 21:08
+1 for serendipitously mentioning gopher on a day when it was brought up in the site's chatroom. (You're really using gopher? Like, in production?? -- What for?) –  voretaq7 May 3 '12 at 21:14
@Zoredache The former. –  rake May 4 '12 at 6:27
@rake Do you control the server? –  Shane Madden May 7 '12 at 19:45
@ShaneMadden Yes. –  rake May 30 '12 at 17:59
