Server Fault is a question and answer site for professional system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of a free tool, or the actual SQL command that will save a binary image stored in a SQL SERVER 2008 R2 database to a file on my hard disk.

I use Heidi SQL which works great, but these images seem to be non-standard in some way and they are not working.

So, I don't know why google won't show me a SQL command to save binary images to a file. I don't want to use VB or C# or anything like that. Just plain SQL.
