On of our web servers is logging the time incorrectly. We are running IIS 6 on Server 2003 SP2. As of April 2012, all of the entries in the web log are dated 2013-01-18 21:15:15. Has anyone seen this before? The clock on the server is set correctly. Also, the #Date: header in the log file is the correct date.

Is the date/time on the file correct? –  MikeAWood Jun 5 '12 at 18:55

@MikeAWood Yes, the date/times of the log files are correct. As are the file names. –  Tom Jun 5 '12 at 19:14

It sounds to me like the UTC time which IIS uses for the log dates seems to be corrupted somehow. Though I haven't a clue how. I do know that by default IIS uses UTC time as opposed to local time for the logging. Though your date seems way further than a few hours out for that to be the issue. –  MikeAWood Jun 5 '12 at 19:57
