I'm unable to ping another host over a bridge I created, I can't see the error -.- It's a remote machine running debian stable with some backports for which I want to set up DHCP on the new Subnet 172.30.xxx.xxx to be used for KVM-Guests.

Edit: After a little tinkering I tried the following configuration :

The problem with this config is, that I can finally access IPs in the 172.30.X.X subnet, but I'm not able to ping other sites (e.g. google.com).

Have you tried removing the IP from the bond0 interface and making it a secondary on br0? –  rnxrx Jun 8 '12 at 16:53
    
I was thinking about that too, but the server needs to keep that IP since a lot of software/scripts rely on it. Or to put it in another way, I would only would do that as a last resort. –  cete3 Jun 8 '12 at 17:05
