We are deploying Microsoft Hyper V at our office & we are migrating major servers to it.

We are also trying to migrate one of the Linux servers which is running Ubuntu 10.04 server. To test the server I created a VM with allocating space of 300GB & 4GB ram and Xeon 3.66 Processor. Creation VM didn't had any issues.

While the installation part where we had issue. We started the installation of Ubuntu 10.04 Server edition. The VM hard drive space it has taken only 136.7GB. But we had allocated 300GB.

Can anyone tell us what could be the problem.
