The user is an assistant to a few other people. She manages their inboxes and sets up appointments for them. Once she creates an calendar event she can't edit it. She will have to delete it and then resend out the event to all people involved.
I don't have a lot of time to work with this user so I was trying to get some research in before I started. Googling hasn't brought up that much so far. It sounds like a permission issue but i'm not sure where the permissions would come into play.
