I've picked up an old Trixbox installation that was left half completed and I've got pretty much everything working properly. However, no matter what I do, I can't get extension 101 to behave. When it gets called, the line hangs up if the call is either answered or goes to voicemail. All the other extensions work fine, even new ones. New ones work except if I try to re-create 101. A re-created 101 has the same issues the old one did. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Can you show us your asterisk logs? Without them we have no idea what Asterisk is trying to do when it hangs up on your callers... –  voretaq7 Jun 14 '12 at 16:48

I just tried to get logs from a failed call but the call worked fine. I'm now thinking it has something to do with the SIP client the user of that extension is using. –  Carnivoris Jun 15 '12 at 14:56

Quite possible - You now have a success, so if you can reproduce the failure you can see what's different in the logs and probably find your solution :-) –  voretaq7 Jun 15 '12 at 15:02
