Is there a command line tool that will list me the AppServers running (or installed) in Progress OpenEdge (10.2a)?

Check the "asbman" command options - the "-query" option will query an appserver for it's status.

The "showcfg" command will show you the local installation information.

asbman requires the AppServer Name, is there a command that returns all the AppServers Names that are valid in the system? The only option I can think of is to parse the *.properties files manually. –  Sam Dean Jun 20 '12 at 8:03

nsman will give you all the appservers currently (=running) registered to that nameserver.

e.g. nsman -i NS1 -query
