I'm a webmaster trying to figure out what might need changing in the setup of our new web server to fix this SSI issue. Until I can replace much SSI code with PHP in many many pages, I need to make the SSI work.
We have many SSI web pages that display the last-formatted date:
<!--#config timefmt="%b %d, %Y"--> Updated <!--#echo var="LAST_MODIFIED"-->
Our old Apache 1.3 server produces: "Updated Jun 20, 2012" but our Apache 2 server produces this unformatted date: "Updated Wednesday, 20-Jun-2012 14:24:24 EDT"
I've read and tested, and I'm confident the timefmt is still correct, and LAST_MODIFIED should still be returned and formatted. PHP pages output strftime() correctly, and apparently our log_config_module is successfully using strftime.
So why can't we format the LAST_MODIFIED date, please? I'm guessing there's some configuration detail we're missing..?
