Server Fault is a question and answer site for professional system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have a few users (about 7 of 400) where their emails are disappearing intermittently on outlook, the emails are however still on OWA in the correct folders.

After running the following Shell command in exchange and restarting outlook everything works fine again for about a week.

[PS] C:\Windows\system32>set-mailboxcalendarsettings ab@abc.com - AutomateProcessing:autoupdate

Then for some odd reason AutoUpdate changes to AutoAccept and the problem starts again.

They are all using office 2007 with SP3 but I suspect the problem is on exchange and not on the local machine.

Have you checked the database for corruption with esetutil? –  pauska Jun 28 '12 at 14:55

Cached Exchange mode or not? –  HopelessN00b Jun 28 '12 at 15:29

cached mode is on as all the users with problems use laptops, we have other laptop users without the problem. –  Mike Jun 29 '12 at 10:23
