Server Fault is a question and answer site for professional system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I am running a virtual lamp server and everything for the most part is working correctly. The problem I have happens about every 10 page loads:

Pages will stop loading at about 90% completion regardless what is loading. Sometimes it is a footer, sometimes it is in the middle of a foreach loop, or sometimes in the middle of an html tag.

I don't see any PHP errors occurring and I am not sure where else to look. If it is an apache issue, where do I start debugging? Mysql cache size is set to 8M and PHP memory_limit is at 128M. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look?

is this reproducable with the client on the same LAN segment as the server, or does something need to be remote for this to happen? –  Mike Pennington Jul 3 '12 at 22:20

I am not sure as to how I would test that, it is a VPS with no GUI. Is there a way to do this on the server? –  user127022 Jul 3 '12 at 22:24

At a minimum, you'd need an X-session to try it –  Mike Pennington Jul 3 '12 at 22:28

or a textmode browser like lynx, links or elinks. –  DerfK Jul 4 '12 at 2:17
