Server Fault is a question and answer site for professional system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I am using an application that requires the use of the function keys. On one of my Windows Server 2008 terminal servers, the function keys don't work. If I RDP into a different Windows Term Server 08, they work. My guess is that I am missing a setting somewhere on the server. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance for any ideas or help.

Not the solution, but if you're in a bind, you may run the on-screen keyboard, osk.exe. –  Greg Askew Jul 6 '12 at 22:18

This is true. I never found a permanent solution. Thanks for the advise –  Jake A Jul 20 '12 at 17:57
