I have a problem with outlook 2010 connecting to Exchange 2007 HMC environment. The mail in outlook looks blank at first, but it is actually corrupt or something. We cannot forward the email or reply to it, as the buttons at the top are not visible. When right clicking and choosing an option, most of the time outlook just crashes.

What we tried: - Disable antivirus - Create new outlook profile - Use outlook in online mode

Remark: We checked the mails in OWA and they are fine. It looks like some kind of client side corruption. Outlook 2010 is fully up to date.

Hope someone can help me with this.

Kind regards, Lars

does it do this on ALL Outlook clients or just one? –  August Jul 12 '12 at 11:30
Just one at the moment. We are not experiencing it on more machines. There are about 250 users on the environment, so I think it is isolated to this one user. –  Exsisto Jul 12 '12 at 14:14
I've seen this when some ****ing users install a crappy free version of a crappy AV product alongside/over top of the crappy corporate AV solution. Would that be the case here? Quickest solution I've found to that problem is to smack the user in the back of the head with their keyboard, and re-image the machine. (Even uninstalling crappy free AV product didn't help, so...) –  HopelessN00b Jul 15 '12 at 15:00
I've looked for this, but did not find a solution. They had Kaspersky installed first, as part of Kaseya, but now they have Trend Micro Worry Free Business. –  Exsisto Sep 5 '12 at 12:47
