I have attempted running PS3 Media Server allowing inbound and outbound port 5001 in APF. What happens is when I start PS3 Media Server I get a IOException has occurred error in the Trace log. When I disable APF it works just fine; I know it's an APF issue because I can reproduce it every time. The problem is me finding out what setting in APF is causing this. I have logging set to warn and I see nothing being logged for APF when IOException is being thrown. How can I troubleshoot this to see what firewall setting is causing this issue with PS3 Media Server?

Review the firewall log, if you've set up a LOG entry.

By default, iptables writes an entry in /var/log/messages for each APF drop
