I can a relatively small Linux VM ( < 8gb) that I would like to move to the cloud for security testing purposes, honeypot presence, etc. I've tried on several occasions to host this on AMAZON's EC2, but am scared away due to the pricing structure and the unpredictability of cost. Can anyone recommend a cheap VM hosting solution that is in the cloud somewhere that I can use to host my VM?

small machines are very cheap on EC2. Not sure why you're scared. – smcg Jul 16 '12 at 15:24
Can I supply my own VM instead of using their instance? – Lexicon Jul 16 '12 at 15:36

linode looks interesting. I wonder if they support OVF, as my VMs are created using ESXi. – Lexicon Jul 16 '12 at 15:42
Just ask them... – ThatGraemeGuy Jul 16 '12 at 15:50
