I installed nginx as reverse proxy in-front of Apache. Configurations are similar to this tutorial After setting up, everything works greatly except prototype.js seems stop working. For example, at create/edit post page, can't click on "permalink edit" button and I get this javascript error @ line 4619 from prototype.js?ver=1.6.1:

element.dispatchEvent is not a function
[Break On This Error]

element.dispatchEvent(event);

Media upload icons are not working as well. If I click on them, upload box is open in new page, not inside the same page with popup.

Looking forward your kind help. Thanks in advance!

PS: I moved my question from here

You will have better luck to get help if you provide more information how it is broken (at least the diff between the original prototype.js and that one from the response). –  VBart Jul 18 '12 at 11:43

Hi VBart, thanks for your reply. It's just a typical wordpress setup and working fine before I use nginx as reverse proxy. I'm quite sure every responses are the same and working smoothly except I can't do any javascript related operation in admin panel which I explained as above. There is also no 404 request or file missing error in console. –  user1443867 Jul 19 '12 at 1:36
