Server Fault is a question and answer site for professional system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

My previous host had an apache redirect to cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi. Since I've changed my dns to the new server:

http://50.19.151.180/

which works fine.

The domain is: http://jquill.com <- see the error here. The redirect remains! I've manually purged the cache and waited and waited, but no fix.

Any ideas?

jquill.com & the ip show the same content from here. Maybe local cache? – Bart De Vos Jul 19 '12 at 17:18
I didn't get a redirect when I requested http://jquill.com/. Can you show the output of curl -I http://jquill.com/ that shows the redirect? Most browsers cache 301 redirects so curl is a much better tool for testing those. – Ladadadada Jul 19 '12 at 17:18
The situation was resolved by clearing my local cache. – Jake Cattrall Jul 19 '12 at 17:29
