Has someone an idea how to possibly rebuild the raid. The problem is that our backup system has 2 failed drives (all within 24h) and it would take days to rebuild the system and to reupload all data, so any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Perhaps I'm missing something but this seems like a pretty straight forward replacement of a disk.

  • Remove the /dev/sda3 from the array,
  • locate the disk with the serial # of 9VS38YXA and remove it from the machine
  • Replace the disk with a new one
  • Add the new disk to the array

The array should then start to rebuild
