I've noticed recently that for all users, Outlook (2007) calendar appointments are being deleted after what appears to be 4 months. Our Auto Archive timescale is set to 4 months, but no one has any calendar appointments in their archive.

Does anybody have any idea on what may be happening to them, and where they may be (if they still exist)?

I have found some posts where the finger is pointed towards syncing content between devices, but the vast majority of our users have no acces to their account outside of the office. Thanks.

You mean every calendar appointment older than 4 months is disappearing? Do you have any managed mailbox policies that are dictating the default archive behaviour of user mailboxes? (It's quite possible to set individual folders to permanently delete instead of moving to the archive PST) – SmallClanger Jul 31 '12 at 13:49
Thanks for the reply. We do not have any mailbox management policies set, and other than the archiving, items should never be deleted. That is what is stumping me, I cannot find anything that says the items should go, but they are... – David Gard Jul 31 '12 at 15:48
Is this just client computers connecting to a pop3/imap mail server, or are you guys using an Exchange or Exchange-like server setup? If it's Exchange this may be helpful. – nojak Jul 31 '12 at 15:49
