I want to disable the 8.3 file name creation on a cluster volume. The volume is at any time only one node assigned so if I disable the creation on one node the other node would create in event of a cluster switch 8.3 file names. Dose windows remember this option for a volume? If so I can move the resource on the other node and disable the creation here also.
