Server Fault is a question and answer site for professional system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

We are getting hundreds of the below every minute on one of our servers, and are having read/write issues:

Error

I have been on Microsoft's website and read a rather vague description, and have read all sorts of conflicting information on various forums and was hoping that somebody who has dealt with this error before could tell me exactly what it is and what the best course of action is.

I am using Windows Server 2003 R2 32 bit, on a server with raided hard drives.

Leave a comment if you want more details and I will update the question.

Thanks

1. You haven't actually asked a question. 2. It's pretty obvious that there's a problem with the disk subsystem. 3. Call the server vendor or HDD manufacturer to find out what diagnostics you can run on the disk subsystem and the HDD's to identify the failing disk(s). 4. Replace said disk(s). – joeqwerty Aug 23 '12 at 14:40
